国連人口基金（UNFPA）は8月21日（木）、女性・子ども・青少年の健康を支援するグローバル・リーダーズ・ネットワークの後援のもと、パシフィコ横浜にて保健分野におけるデジタル・トランスフォーメーション（DX）をテーマにしたイベントを開催します。

本イベントでは、日本政府の拠出によるTICAD補正予算によりコンゴ民主共和国(DRC)、エチオピア、ナイジェリア及びマダガスカルの4か国にて実施されている3つのプロジェクトを紹介します。

• コンゴ民主共和国(DRC): SOIK - デジタルツール「SPAQ」を用いた遠隔産前検診等の実施
• ナイジェリア&マダガスカル: NEC - 電子バウチャーシステム(CVA)の構築と普及
• エチオピア: 伊藤忠商事 - 吸水ショーツの現地製造・販売

プロジェクトは全て、日本の企業とのパートナーシップのもと実施されています。最も脆弱な立場にある人々、特に女性、少女たち及び少年たちの性と生殖に関する健康における人間の安全保障の推進に焦点を当て、平和構築と人間開発の基盤のための若者のエンパワメントに重きをおいています。

Investing in Peace: Digital Transformation(DX) 

in Health for Adolescent Youth and Women

This UNFPA Thematic Event, supported by the Global Leaders Network for Women, Children, and Adolescent Health, will highlight three UNFPA projects in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Ethiopia, Madagascar, and Nigeria. 

These projects are funded by the Government of Japan through the TICAD Supplementary 

Budget and implemented in partnership  with Japanese private sector actors. 

• Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC): SOIK – Provision of remote antenatal care using the digital tool “SPAQ”
• Nigeria & Madagascar: NEC – Development and dissemination of an electronic voucher system (Cash and Voucher Assistance: CVA)
• Ethiopia: ITOCHU Corporation – Local production and distribution of absorbent sanitary  shorts

The projects focus on advancing human security in sexual and reproductive health for some of the most vulnerable populations -particularly women, girls and boys - and emphasise youth empowerment as a foundation for peacebuilding and human development.
